Juicebox Pricing in 2026The real cost per seat, per credit, and per agent

Juicebox publishes its prices, which already puts it ahead of most sourcing vendors. The number on the pricing page is still not what you will spend. The gap sits in credit mechanics, a five-seat ceiling, and one integration that costs a sales call to unlock.

What Juicebox actually costs

Juicebox, the product behind PeopleGPT, sells natural-language search across a claimed 800 million profiles pulled from 30 or more sources. You type what you want in plain English instead of building a Boolean string, and it returns a shortlist. The company says 25,000 teams use it. For a category where most vendors hide behind a demo form, publishing a price list at all is a real advantage. The published pricing page lists four tiers plus one add-on.

Here is the part worth knowing before you read anything else about this product. Juicebox repriced in July 2026, dropping Starter from $139 to $119 a month. A lot of the review sites currently ranking for this query never updated. If you see $139 Starter, or 250 and 1,000 credit allowances, you are reading a page written before the change. I pulled every number in this article from the vendor's own pricing table and compare grid on August 3, 2026.

The annual discount is a flat 15%. Paying monthly on Starter costs $1,428 a year against $1,188 annually, so the convenience of month-to-month billing carries a $240 premium. On a single seat that is tolerable. Across five Growth seats the same choice costs an extra $1,200 a year, which is roughly half an agent.

If you are still deciding whether a dedicated sourcing tool belongs in your stack at all, start with our guides onwhat candidate sourcing involves andthe best sourcing tools for recruiters. This article is narrower. It is about where the money goes.

Cost driver 1

Credits are the real price, not seats

Searches are unlimited on every paid plan. That sounds generous until you realise search is not the constrained resource. Contact data is. You can run a thousand queries a day and still be unable to email anyone, because reaching a candidate spends a contact credit and credits reset monthly.

Growth, annual

11.9¢

$179 divided by 1,500 credits

Growth cuts the unit cost of contact data by 40%. A recruiter who burns through 500 credits every month is paying a premium to stay on Starter.

The three-credit phone charge is the detail people miss. If your outreach motion is phone-first, and for technical and executive search it often has to be, your 500-credit Starter allowance is really 166 conversations. That is eight phone numbers per working day. Most recruiters filling two or three roles will hit that wall in the second week of the month.

Run the unit economics and the tier choice gets obvious. Starter costs 19.8 cents per credit on annual billing. Growth costs 11.9 cents. The extra $80 a month buys 1,000 additional credits, which prices the marginal credit at 8 cents, well under what you are already paying on Starter. Anyone who reliably exhausts 500 credits is paying more per contact to stay on the cheaper-looking plan.

One caution on modelling. Juicebox does not publish a self-serve top-up or an overage rate. Treat the monthly allowance as a hard ceiling rather than a soft target with a paid escape hatch. Plan the tier around your worst month, not your average one, because there is no documented way to buy your way out mid-cycle.

Export credits run on a separate meter at the same volumes: 500 a month on Starter, 1,500 per seat on Growth, 2,250 per seat on Business. They cover CSV, ATS and CRM exports together. Bulk export is capped at 100 profiles per action on Starter and 250 on Growth, so moving a large shortlist means repeating the action several times.

Cost driver 2

The $99 plan cannot talk to your ATS

This is the single most important line in the compare table and it is easy to skim past. Juicebox lists integrations with 41 applicant tracking systems, including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, BambooHR, SmartRecruiters, Recruitee, Teamtailor and iCIMS. It lists 21 CRMs on top of that. Every one of those connections is gated behind the Business plan, which is custom priced and sold annually only.

Bulk export caps at 100 profiles per export on Starter and 250 on Growth. Business goes up to 500.

Think about what that means operationally. On Starter or Growth, a sourcer finds fifty strong candidates, unlocks their contact data, runs a sequence, and then exports a CSV in batches to get them into the system where hiring actually happens. Someone re-imports that file. Stage data lives in two places. Reply history sits in Juicebox while interview feedback sits in the ATS, and reporting on source effectiveness becomes a manual reconciliation job.

My honest view is that CSV handoff between a sourcing tool and an ATS is where most sourcing ROI quietly dies. You can measure how many people you contacted. You cannot easily measure how many of them got hired, which is the only number that justifies the spend. We wrote about why that seam matters in our guide tothe ATS integrations that actually matter, and the argument holds here.

SSO and SAML sit behind the same wall, along with SOC 2 reporting and invoice billing. Any company with a real security review, which in practice means most organisations above 200 people, is going to end up on a Business quote regardless of how many seats they need. So is any company whose finance team refuses to pay software bills by credit card. Those constraints, rather than headcount, are what push buyers off the published price list.

Admin seats and collaborative hiring manager seats are Business-only too. On Growth, every person who touches the tool consumes a full $179 seat. There is no cheap viewer tier for the hiring manager who wants to glance at a shortlist once a week. If that pattern sounds familiar, it is the same trap we covered in our breakdown ofper-seat ATS pricing.

Cost driver 3

The $199 agent add-on, and when it pays for itself

Juicebox Agents are sold separately at $199 per agent per month, on top of whatever seats you already pay for. An agent runs continuously against the same 800 million profiles, learns from which candidates you shortlist, and can be set to auto-email or auto-shortlist. Anyone in the organisation can be given access to a single agent.

The interesting part is the credit treatment. Each agent carries unlimited contact and email credits. That breaks the per-seat credit ceiling for any work you route through it. Compare the two ways to buy more capacity: a Growth seat costs $179 a month annually and delivers 1,500 credits, while an agent costs $199 and delivers unlimited. For $20 more, you remove the cap entirely.

So the breakeven is sharp. If a workflow needs more than about 1,700 contact credits a month, roughly 1,700 emails or 560 phone numbers, the agent is cheaper than buying another Growth seat to feed it. High-volume outbound desks should probably buy agents before they buy seats. Teams doing careful, low-volume executive search should not buy agents at all, because they will never use the unlimited allowance and $2,388 a year is a lot to pay for automation you have to supervise anyway.

A word of caution on auto-email. Setting an agent to contact candidates without a human reading the message first is how employer brands get damaged. Volume outreach already sits under pressure: research summarised bySHRM consistently ties candidate experience to offer acceptance, and generic automated approaches are the fastest way to sour it. Our guide onsourcing passive candidates covers what separates outreach that gets replies from outreach that gets blocked.

The math

What four common setups cost per year

These figures use published annual rates. Business pricing is a quote, so the fourth scenario is a floor rather than a forecast.

Annual spend by team shape

Calculated from published annual rates, August 2026

Solo recruiter

1 Starter seat, annual billing

$1,188 / yr

6,000 credits a year

Three-person agency desk

3 Growth seats, annual billing

$6,444 / yr

54,000 credits a year

Small team running agents

3 Growth seats + 2 agents

$11,220 / yr

Unlimited on agent workflows

Five seats, agents, ATS sync

5 Growth seats + 2 agents, then a Business quote

$15,516+ / yr

Custom pricing above this line

The jump most teams do not plan for is the fourth line. Growth stops at five seats. A sixth recruiter, or a security questionnaire, or a finance team that wants an invoice, moves you to a custom annual contract with no published anchor to negotiate against. If you expect to cross any of those thresholds inside twelve months, get the Business number before you sign an annual Growth contract rather than after.

Put these numbers next to your cost per hire before deciding whether they are reasonable. A three-seat agency desk paying $6,444 a year needs the tool to influence somewhere around one additional placement to justify itself, which is a low bar for most agencies and a high one for an internal team hiring twelve people a year. Ourcost per hire guide walks through how to frame that properly.

Context

How the price compares to the rest of the category

Against the incumbents, Juicebox is cheap. A Growth seat at $2,148 a year sits well below a LinkedIn Recruiter Corporate seat, which lands in the $10,000 to $12,000 range, and below typicalSeekOut andhireEZ contracts, both of which usually start with a sales call and an annual commitment. Being able to buy a working seat with a credit card in five minutes is a genuine differentiator in this category.

The comparison is not clean, though. LinkedIn Recruiter includes InMail, which delivers inside the network candidates actually open. Juicebox finds an email address and then you have to earn the open yourself in a crowded inbox. Different products solving overlapping problems at very different prices. OurLinkedIn Recruiter pricing breakdown has the full seat math if you are weighing both.

One structural point about all of these tools. They make finding people cheaper without making deciding between them any faster, and the deciding is usually the bottleneck. TheBLS JOLTS series still shows millions of open roles moving slowly through the market, and very few of them are stuck because nobody could find candidates. Buy sourcing capacity when your funnel is genuinely empty at the top. If the queue is stuck at screening or scheduling instead, more sourced profiles just make the queue longer.

Verdict

Who should actually buy which plan

Starter at $99 annually: solo recruiters and founders

Right for one person filling a handful of roles who is happy working out of CSVs. Unlimited search for under $1,200 a year is fair value. You will feel the 500-credit cap if you do any phone sourcing.

Growth at $179 annually: small agency desks and startup talent teams

The tier that makes economic sense for anyone sourcing daily. Triple the credits for 80% more money is the best value on the list. Watch the five-seat ceiling.

Business: anyone who needs the data to land in a system of record

If ATS sync, SSO, or an invoice is non-negotiable, this is your only option and you should get the number early. Ask what a seat costs at your headcount and what happens to the rate at renewal.

Skip it if your bottleneck is downstream

Sourcing tools fix an empty top of funnel. They do nothing for slow screening, disorganised interview loops, or hiring managers who take a week to give feedback.

Overall I think Juicebox prices honestly for what it is, and the credit model is more transparent than most of the category. The thing I would push back on is putting ATS integration behind a quote-only tier. Sourcing data that cannot reach your system of record is worth a fraction of sourcing data that can, and pricing that gap as an enterprise upsell means the cheapest plans deliver the least measurable value. Go in knowing that, and the published prices are defensible.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Juicebox cost per month?

Juicebox Starter is $119 per seat per month billed monthly, or $99 per seat per month billed annually. Growth is $199 per seat per month billed monthly, or $179 billed annually. Business pricing is custom and sold on annual contracts only. A free plan gives you limited trial searches and 5 one-off contact credits.

Does Juicebox have a free plan?

Yes. The free plan includes one seat, a limited number of trial searches, AI email templates, and 5 one-off contact credits. It has zero export credits, so you cannot move candidate data out of the product. It works as a way to test PeopleGPT search quality before paying, not as a working sourcing tool.

What is a Juicebox contact credit and how many do you get?

A contact credit unlocks contact data on a profile. An email costs 1 credit and a phone number costs 3 credits. Starter includes 500 credits a month, Growth includes 1,500 per seat per month, and Business includes unlimited contact credits. On Starter, 500 credits means 500 emails or roughly 166 phone numbers.

Does Juicebox integrate with my ATS?

Only on the Business plan. Juicebox lists integrations with 41 ATS platforms including Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, BambooHR, SmartRecruiters and iCIMS, plus 21 CRMs, but the compare table gates all of them behind Business. On Free, Starter and Growth your only export path is CSV, capped at 100 profiles per export on Starter and 250 on Growth.

How much do Juicebox AI agents cost?

Agents are a $199 per agent per month add-on that sits on top of any paid plan. Each agent comes with unlimited contact and email credits, auto-email or auto-shortlist behaviour, and can be shared with any user in the organisation. Since a Growth seat costs $179 annually for 1,500 credits, an agent becomes the cheaper unit of capacity for any role burning more than about 1,700 credits a month.

Is Juicebox cheaper than LinkedIn Recruiter or SeekOut?

On sticker price, yes. A Juicebox Growth seat runs $2,148 a year against roughly $10,000 to $12,000 for a LinkedIn Recruiter Corporate seat. The comparison is not like for like. Juicebox is a sourcing and outreach layer over 800 million public profiles, while LinkedIn Recruiter includes InMail delivery inside the network candidates actually check.

Can you buy more Juicebox credits without upgrading?

Juicebox does not publish a self-serve credit top-up or an overage rate. The published path to more contact data is upgrading the plan, adding seats, or buying agents at $199 each. Assume your credit ceiling is a hard monthly cap when you model the cost.

How many seats can you have on the Growth plan?

Growth caps at 5 seats, each billed separately. A sixth recruiter pushes you into the Business plan, which is custom priced and annual only. That cap matters for agencies planning to grow a desk past five people during a contract year.
