Frequently Asked Questions

What is a hiring pipeline in Prepzo?

A pipeline is your customizable hiring workflow. It consists of stages that candidates move through, from application to hire. Each job can have its own pipeline, or you can use a company-wide default.

What are the default pipeline stages?

The default stages are: Applied → Screening → Phone Screen → Interview → Offer → Hired. You can add, remove, rename, or reorder stages to match your process. There's also a Rejected stage for declined candidates.

How do I move candidates between stages?

Drag and drop candidates between stages in the pipeline view, use the stage dropdown on a candidate's profile, or set up automations to move candidates automatically based on criteria like AI scores.

Can I have different pipelines for different jobs?

Yes. Each job can have its own customized pipeline. This is useful when different roles have different hiring processes. You can also create pipeline templates to reuse across similar roles.

How do I add a custom stage to my pipeline?

Go to Job Settings → Pipeline, click 'Add Stage', name your stage (e.g., 'Technical Assessment'), and position it in your workflow. You can add as many stages as needed.

Can I track time spent in each stage?

Yes. Prepzo automatically tracks how long candidates spend in each stage. You can see this on individual candidate profiles and in aggregate in your Analytics dashboard.

What happens when I move a candidate to Rejected?

Moving a candidate to Rejected archives them from the active pipeline. You can optionally trigger an automatic rejection email. Rejected candidates are still searchable and can be moved back to active stages if needed.

Can I set up automatic stage movements?

Yes. Using Automations, you can set rules like 'move to Phone Screen when AI score is above 80' or 'move to Rejected if no response after 7 days'. See the Automations documentation for details.
